Model of the Linear ship "Azov"

First of the Russian ships, has received a flag of St.George in 1827.

"Azov" was the largest 74-gun linear ship. The ship has been incorporated in Arkhangelsk on October, 20th, 1825 and floated on May, 26th, 1826.

The ship was built by well-known Russian ship master I.A.Kurochkin. The ship has received a name in memory of victory in 1696.

At construction of model materials are used: the Pear, a maple, an ebony, a cotton, paints, a brass.
