Model of French xebek "Shark" (" La REQUIN " - 1750)
Xebek is sailing and rowing, three-mast vessel with slanting sails. It was applied in Middle Ages on Mediterranean sea to the military and transport purposes,of the fleets of different countries and pirates.
The narrow and long hull with disorder of boards and strongly put forward , provided good seaworthiness. The length of xebek was 25 - 35 meters. The arms of xebek included many guns: from 16 up to 24.
The model is constructed by well-known master Alexander Romashchenko under drawings of French publishing house " Ancre ".
Model xebek the gold medalist of the world championship 2010.
The sizes of model: length of 1220 mm, width of 230 mm, height of 610 mm.
